Photograph Fixes

We've been wanting to add other services to our business for some time, especially photograph retouching.  In the past, e-mails would reach us with a question or two about fixing a photograph.  There were the unwanted people or objects, creases in a photograph, or just plain faded old photographs that needed a little life breathed back into them. 

Well we're happy to announce we can put our programs and experience to work for you.  Using Photoshop CS4, PhotoWizard, Portrait Professional 10, and the entire Topaz line of plug-ins, we can restore photographs and make them more printable for todays printers. 

Creased and faded can be fixed.

Remove objects and dirt, as well as restoring color.

Add contrast and character to an image.

Simply return some color.

*Guidelines:  the photos we retouch must be your personal photographs (nothing professional without written permission).  All scanned photographs must be at least 150dpi, but best at or above 300dpi.  Photographs must be e-mailed to Forbear Photos here for approval.  Estimates will be given before any editing is done.  Payments for editing are due before photos are e-mailed back.  All inquires should be written and sent here.  Payments can be made on the Forbear Photos site after approval.

Custom Designs

When we decided to market our Forbear Photos brand with the go beyond idea, we wanted our clients to understand they should expect more and get more when they hire us.  We love photography, but we also love to get creative and use the programs we have to design fun and interesting business cards.  Sure a small card is great and fits in your wallet or purse, but that's usually where it stays.  Our cards are designed to be shared and seen by as many people as possible.  For example:

Engagements and Weddings are fun to design for also.  They give us a chance to give back to the couple and the families envolved in the whole process.

Boutique Or Unique?

When we started our business a year and half ago, we knew we didn't ever want to be like every other boutique photo service.  We used our knowledge of outdoor photography as well as studio techniques to create a style of photography that fit our ideals.  We wanted the flexibility to provide great location photographs, as well as the comfort of studio session, without having to leave your own home.  We've been successful and fortunate thus far to have a great collection of families, friends, and new clients all willing to try something new. 

As a new season dawns, we want to continue to provide the best and most unique coverage of your special moments.  As the year unfolds we have many new and exciting products to unveil, new services, new plug-ins, custom designed templates, photo books, and so many more.  As we continue to grow, we make new friends, talk with and learn from professional and amateur photographers alike, all to provide better quality.  We strive not to create repeatable sessions, but individual experiences for each client.  There will always be a modicum of overlap, but we hope clients, past, present, and future see the difference in the body of work we create.

Our goal for 2011 is to provide our unique brand of photography as well as our unwavering professionalism to those that are ready for something new.  Of course, this goal would never have been set into place without the handful of wonderful families, seniors, couples, and newly arrived that keep us on the right path this last season.  Thank you to all those that welcomed us into your lives.  It's our hope as the need may arise, we might serve you again.
